The word HiME stands for 'Highly-advanced Materializing Equipment' Also, Ota-Chan was correct when she said they are a girl, because only females can be a HiME. Also all HiME also have an identical birthmark which is shaped like the HiME symbol somewhere on their body. Can anyone tell me what Ota-Chan meant by calling upon her Element and Child? | It's Masashi Sensei, Masashi Takeda. A HiME's Element is what they fight with, and their Child is a being which they call to them to help. |
| Not bad Masashi-Kun. Yes an Element is what a HiME will fight with. It is the name given to their weapon they can create. Most Elements take form of a combat type weapon, but some end up as non-combat weapons. A HiME's Child is a special creature who is summoned to battle by a HiME. Most Childs have some origin in mythological beasts or deities. |
